We are currently working with an agency in Kentucky to develop a new logo for one of their clients. Associates in Eye Care. There was only one major request made. We should stay away from using eyes.
Matt just finished up these logo icons and typefaces. We are hoping to get some feedback.
This first one is our personal favorite and the concept is; People gathering
![]()
This next concept just plays with shapes to illustrate a lens shutter.
The concept of the logo below came from the iris of the eye. It is part of the eyeball that has color. I know we were supposed to stay away from an eye but i think this is abstract enough.
The last concept also illustrates the closing or opening of a shutter.
Let us know what you think. Whether you love them or hate them.
Off to lunch,
Tyler

I like the third on. The blue seems clean and sterile in a way you want your eyedoctor to be

Hi,
Liked your design (which also has meaning).
My Idea:
I would use some shapes (square/circle/rectangle/Triangle /other etc.) with different colors (light and transparent like) (as in your last design “..the closing or opening of a shutter”) to resemble it to the ‘Eye Testing Chart”

Clean and concise, I like them. Great type treatment. The only thing that strikes me is the 1st and 4th use a similar color set to Google Chrome and Microsoft. It doesn’t jump out but when I saw it the first thing I thought was that looks like the Chrome color set and similar since it’s circular. Either way they look awesome, just my 2cents
